In this structured coaching program, lawyers will focus on improving their day-to-day approach to their practices, with the goal of streamlining key aspects of regular and recurring tasks.

Your Vision. The program begins with the client’s own vision of success. What does a balanced, efficient, and thriving practice look like to you? The elements of the program are tailored to the client’s personal and professional needs and goals.

Foundational Elements: With the client’s unique vision in mind, the client and coach work together to identify the foundational elements of process improvement, including:

  • Billing & Time Management: Assessing and refining the client’s approach to their time entries and invoicing practices.

  • Task Management: Developing systems for delegating work effectively, empowering others and putting checks and balances in place to make sure high standards are met.

  • Workload Management: Creating sustainable strategies for managing client’s systems for tracking tasks, deadlines, and communications.

  • Email Efficiency: Developing systems for prioritizing, responding, and organizing emails effectively, allowing clients to stay on top of key communications while minimizing distractions and unnecessary back-and-forth.

  • Leadership: Improving how clients lead teams, optimizing meetings and high-coordination activities.

The Process. Over the course of six (6) one to one coaching sessions, together with written reflections and guided prompts, the client and coach will evaluate the client’s current processes and systems, identify areas where improvement would save time and energy, and formulate a customized plan that takes into account the resources and support available to the client.

The Outcome. The program culminates in the preparation of a unique, customized plan that integrates the learning and takeaways from the program, in a format that provides easy and accessible steps for the client to improve their processes.

Execution. Once a client has a plan in place, they have a range of options for ongoing thought partnership and accountability, including individual coaching, peer mastermind groups, and written reflections on a monthly or quarterly basis.*

The Guide. This program is guided by a coach who is both a practicing lawyer and a former law firm partner, who knows the value of a lawyer’s precious time and the exponential benefits of streamlined processes. Lauren's exposure to a broad range of legal practice settings, including large and small firms, together with her experience leading both long-term complex matters and short-term high-volume matters, makes her uniquely capable of helping lawyers consider a range of options for process and approach, ultimately choosing what works best for them.
